  GCMA NADMO Director MR HAKEEM ASAMOAH Tours Flood-Prone Areas and Major Drains in Need of Desilting Date: June 5, 2025 In a proactive move to curb the annual threat of flooding ahead of the rainy season, the newly appointed Ga Central Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Mr. Hakeem Asamoah , has embarked on a comprehensive tour of flood-prone communities and key drainage sites across the municipality. The tour, which began early Thursday morning, saw Mr. Asamoah accompanied by some Assembly members and officials from the Municipal and Zonal NADMO offices. The team visited areas that have been historically vulnerable to flooding due to blocked drains, poor waste management, and inadequate infrastructure.
